Kidspace museum, Pasadena

Things we love: Packed full of exhibits to get your little one's imagination and creativity going! Great indoor and outdoor fun!

Things to consider: about 45 minute drive from the SCV with no traffic.

No strollers aloud inside, you can and should (if you have your hands full) bring it from the parking lot to the museum and park it near the entrance. The museum is small enough that your little one will not get tired walking from one end to the other though.
oh and skip paying extra for the star station it is not dark enough to see the stars and my 2 1/2 was bored out of her mind. it's not for the claustrophobic either cause it's cramped and warm!

Consider going after 1:30 pm when the schools are done visiting. It's way more crowded when there is a field trip but not so crowded that I plan my day any differently than I would around naps!

Kidspace is worth the easy drive to Pasadena. Once you are there your little ones can walk through a kaleidoscope, climb up several different nature themed structures (that are safety net enclosed), water the beautiful outdoor gardens, ride trikes on a fun road like path, get wet in the water tables, dig for dinosaur "fossils", do a craft project, check out bugs up close and seriously tons more. Every time we go here we find something new.
You could go for an hour or so just to let your kids get out some energy or you could make a whole day out of it. They even have a decent food court type restaurant with some Wolf Gang Puck inspired items (sounds more exciting than it is but we are PICKY and we found some healthy vegetarian items).
They also have a separate area for kids and babies 4 and under with lots of soft stuff to play/crawl on and story time!
Admission is $9 unless you are a member.

After parking in Rose Bowl Lot I, walk up the path through Brookside Park to the white building. That's Kidspace!
(This info is important! We could not find the museum from the parking lot the first time we went because it's kinda tucked away)

Hi. I saw that you had posted a comment on the site that told how to use this template for Blogspot... I am trying to use this template as well. I have the same question as you had, but see that you solved it. How were you able to put a picture in the "feature comment" section up top??? If you could please help, I would so appreciate it.

    Thanks!
